The Central Trust Team is dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of children across their eight primary schools and are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech and Language Professional to join their team.

Role Overview:
As a Qualified Speech and Language Professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the communication and language development needs of the school's students. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals to implement effective strategies that promote speech and language skills in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students with speech and language needs across the schools.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support individual students.
  • Provide consultancy and training to school staff on effective speech and language strategies.
  • Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive environment that supports communication development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., relevant degree and/or membership in a professional body).
  • Proven experience in working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
