Our Client:

Is a global provider of goods, importing and exporting to a variety of customers across the globe.

Role Summary:

You will play a crucial role in our clients logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management and facilitating timely shipments to customers.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Receive and book in incoming goods.
  • Reconcile goods delivered against delivery notes.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Palletise goods for safe transportation and arrange collections as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, counting and splitting orders to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Allocate and print pick sheets for efficient order processing.
  • Despatch orders in a timely manner.
  • Generate dispatch notes and custom invoices as required.
  • Arrange domestic and international shipping, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Calculate freight costs and liaise with couriers to secure the best rates.
  • Process returns by filling out the concern log.

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
  • A basic understanding of shipping processes and inventory management would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to lift up to 25kg.
