About the role of Bid Writer

Fawkes and Reece are looking for a new Bid Writer to join our clients expanding team in the Canterbury area. Our clients specialise demolition, groundworks, civil engineering & minor building works on projects up to 6m in value.

The responsibilities of the Bid Writer
* Read tender documents
* Manage the bid process
* Write the tender submission document
* Prepare 3D models of our plans of works to illustrate our methodologies (no experience required - training will be provided).

Requirements for Bid Writer
* Strong attention to detail
* Good ability to communicate and diplomatically liaise with colleagues.
* Strong computer skills, and ideally experience in design software such as InDesign, CAD or Google Sketch-Up.
* The ability to suitably prioritise your workload.
* An enthusiasm for self-progression and development.
* An interest in all-things construction related would be an advantage.
