P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Piping Design Engineer to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop effective piping systems tailored to project needs and load requirements.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and schematics for the piping system.
- Partner closely with structural, process, and planning teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
- Choose the best materials and components for the project.
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Piping, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a Piping Designer with proficiency in Navisworks & AutoCAD.
Person Specification:
- Highly analytical with a knack for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Motivated, with excellent time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team-building skills and a collaborative spirit.
