Hours: Monday to Friday, office based, 8:00am to 5:00pm with an extra early finish on a Friday!

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Estimator based at our client's offices in Canvey Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Compiling accurate take-offs and estimates from mechanical layout drawings/schematics
Analysing drawings, specifications, schedules and other relevant documentation
Liaising with project managers, engineers and clients to gather specific project requirements

Role Requirements

Experience in estimation and costing
Ability to read and understand construction layout drawings and schematics
Ability to manage own workload and ensure return deadlines are met
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in using Ensign estimating and pricing software is essential!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
