Job Advert: Finance Officer

Location: Cardiff or Carmarthen (1 day a week on-site)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

About the Role: My client, a lovely third sector organisation doing exceptional work in the community, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Officer. This role covers all elements of transactional accounting and provides vital support to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of transactional accounting
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong all-rounder with a solid understanding of transactional accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
