This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to join a vibrant team where managing financial resources is essential to the smooth running of the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this pivotal role, the Finance Officer will support the Finance Manager to ensure all financial systems are robust and compliant with statutory and organisational guidelines. You’ll be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of both manual and digital accounting systems, as well as overseeing financial transactions conducted by Finance Assistants, ensuring timely payments and correct processing.What We’re Looking For
  • Strong IT and administrative abilities, with proficiency in finance software and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of public sector and charity finance.
  • Part-qualified accountant status or significant relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and accountability within the public sector.
Desirable SkillsWhile fluency in Welsh (written and spoken) is not essential, it would be beneficial. If appointed, the organisation is committed to supporting your development of Welsh language skills.Benefits
