On behalf of a leading organisation, we are looking for skilled individuals to join their team and Oversee the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance Service Level Agreements (e.g. SLAs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance Service Level Agreements (e.g. SLAs)
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and support on financial statement preparation
  • Supervise the Assistant Financial Accountants in their daily tasks, providing guidance and support
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations (e.g. define process and timeline for reconciling intercompany transactions between regions during month end)
  • Monthly collaboration with Regional Financial Controllers for validation of entity level revenue reconciliation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance operations role, preferably within a shared service centre environment.
  • Proven experience leading and motivating a team of finance professionals.
  • Strong understanding of key finance processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
