Are you a finance leader ready to take on an impactful role in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment?

My is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to provide maternity cover for 12 months initially. This is a unique chance to play a key role in shaping the financial operations of a forward-thinking, professional services business. Step into this pivotal position and help drive growth while working alongside a supportive team with access to expertise across the UK and Ireland.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage cash, revenue, and cost control across the hub, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
  • Oversee reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, providing key insights to the Managing Director and Group Finance Director.
  • Build and manage the finance team, centralising financial activities to ensure efficiency across regional offices.
  • Take charge of budget setting and support the group's overall budgeting process, ensuring this business meets growth criteria.
  • Provide detailed commentary on forecasting, investigate variances, and drive financial accuracy.
  • Ensure all audit-related tasks, tax filings, and transfer pricing activities are completed on time.
  • Work closely with the Group Finance team to review consolidated data and provide strategic input.

Profile

  • You will be a professionally qualified Accountant with ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller/Head of Finance in a either a SME or a Group Business
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UK tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills.
