Financial Controller, Cardiff (Hybrid)

Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing electronics manufacturing company. They are now seeking a Project Accountant to join their team.

This position will suit a qualified accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing financial planning and cash flow for global projects, including those of significant scale and complexity.
  • Developing financial plans, forecasts, project financials, and reports for senior leadership.
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditures to ensure alignment with allocated budgets.
  • Providing analysis of financial impacts resulting from project changes and potential risks.
  • Ensuring cost control and compliance by reviewing invoices to verify they adhere to approved budgets and contractual agreements.

Key Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified accountant, preferably with CIMA or ACA certification.
  • Experience managing or supporting international projects.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Proactive, selfmotivated, and equipped with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences in global regions and the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
