Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, offering a salary between £40,000 and £50,000. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a mix of office-based and remote working.

How you'll make an impact

As a Management Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and play a critical role in supporting financial planning and project initiatives. You'll be responsible for backfilling the duties of a management accountant who is engaged in project work. In this role, you'll ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and data analysis, working closely with the finance team to support essential operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly budget reports and assist in budget management.
  • Perform data manipulation and analysis to provide financial insights for key decision-making.
  • Use SAP for financial data management, including reporting and processing.
  • Contribute to a long-term financial planning project, supporting the team with SAP, month-end processes, and budget releases.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for financial data reporting and analysis.
  • Liaise with internal departments and support management with financial insights.

Experience and Skills

  • Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in management accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience with financial data manipulation.

  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with cross-functional teams.
