Located in the centre of Cardiff with excellent travel links and free parking available.Your new role

  • Planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion work, along with general accounting compliance work
  • Leading smaller / medium audit engagements, which will include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits within the allocated time
  • Developing audit programmes and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
  • Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards
  • Regular travel and time working at client's premises; a willingness to travel and access to a car is essential
  • The need to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines set
  • Dealing with clients at various levels
  • Preparing accounts from incomplete records

What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience working in Audit

What you'll get in return

  • Up to £33,000
  • Annual holiday of 25 days together with 8 days of bank holidays, plus office closure over Christmas (either 3 or 4 days depending on how Christmas falls)
  • Further increases in annual leave after the completion of five, ten, and fifteen years service with the company - up to a maximum of 31 days per annum
  • Day off for birthday.
