Practice Accountant / Client Manager

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum doe

The Role:
As a Practice Accountant / Client Manager, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in accounts preparation, audit, and taxation. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts.
- Leading and assisting in audits for clients across various industries.
- Managing personal and corporation tax compliance, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Providing clients with advice and guidance to support their financial goals.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
About You:
My client is looking for a proactive and client-focused individual with the following:
- Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified / Studier or QBEs.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice, with exposure to accounts preparation, audit, and tax.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
