About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the company's sales ledger and ensuring timely payments. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team, balancing time between our vibrant Cardiff office and the comfort of your home (2 days remote per week).

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Ledger Management: Process invoices, maintain accurate records, and ensure the ledger is up to date.
  • Credit Control: Proactively manage customer accounts, chase overdue payments, and resolve queries to minimize bad debt.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance credit control processes and systems.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in sales ledger, credit control, or a similar finance role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
