We’re seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join a multi-office practice with a branch in Cardiff. The right candidate will have at least 4 years of practice experience in accounts production and an AAT or ACCA qualification.

Role Responsibilities
  • Producing accounts for multiple clients, including from incomplete records
  • Preparing corporation tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting with VAT return completion
  • Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns for more complex clients
  • Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) implementation and providing software training on Xero, Freeagent, and Sage
  • Supporting Client Managers in managing their client portfolios and providing high-quality service

Candidate Requirements
  • AAT or ACCA qualified with at least 4 years of practice experience in accounts production
  • Strong experience with bookkeeping software such as Xero, Freeagent, and Sage, and preferably Iris for accounts and tax production
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take responsibility in managing client work
  • Team player with the ability to mentor and support junior staff
