Description
- Assisting with daily accounting tasks and financial procedures
- Supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Participating in financial audits
- Helping to organise and maintain financial records
- Contributing to budget preparation and control
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
- Managing petty cash transactions
- Ensuring compliance with industry and company policies
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
