This role is offering 27,000 - 30,000 DOE. It's Monday to Friday, core hours of 10AM - 4PM. This is a full time role at 37 hours per week, with the ability to work from home.
Responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department. This is a varied and interesting role that includes:
- Processing and reconciling payments for grants and other financial transactions.
- Managing accounts, including sales invoices, bank reconciliations, and credit control.
- Supporting the delivery of strategic projects with financial input.
- Assisting with year-end processes and audits.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Has experience in a finance role or holds an AAT qualification (or equivalent).
- Is proficient in using financial software and has strong IT skills - Especially Excel!
- Is highly organised, methodical, and attentive to detail.
- Can work independently and under pressure, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with a wide range of people.
