ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (HOMELESSNESS SERVICES)IMMEDIATELY REQUIRED TO WORK IN CARDIFF.  Location: Cardiff.Hours: Full time.Duration: Fixed term contract.Start: June 2024.   Salary: £12.28/ hour.Are you an experienced and efficient administrative assistant looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to work as part of an organization committed to making a positive difference in the community? If so, BRC are recruiting for administrative assistant to join a fantastic team in Cardiff.    This charity organization is committed to ending homelessness and provides essential support to rough sleepers. They are looking for an organized and personable individual to assist with administrative running of the service. Your role will involve inputting data, using computer systems, supporting staff and contributing to the service to ensure day to day operations run smoothly.  Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to: 
  • Assisting in the collection and collation of data.
  • Inputting data.
  • Utilising word and excel.
  • Ordering office supplies and ensuring the office is fully stocked.
  • Following correct administrative processes.
  • Reflect and promote the charity’s values.
  • Assisting in the training of volunteers.
  • Assisting support staff in their work with clients.
  • Demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Offering a positive attitude.
  • Managing an individual workload.
  To excel in this role, prior admin experience is required. The right candidate will be friendly, yet professional, able to work efficiently whilst ensuring accuracy and detail. An interest in, or knowledge of, the supported housing sector is desirable. It is vital that you are able to work well as part of a collaborative team as well as being a strong individual worker.  This opportunity enables you to collaborate with a supportive organization, ensuring continuous assistance in your work.
