This position of the Design Engineer based within Cardiff, you will be responsible for programming and designing the full product range.
- You will have the authority to suggest differnt ideas to customers to improve the product and customer satisfaction
- You will be involved in new product introduction
- Use SoldWorks to design new and amend excisting changes to ensure the product matches the required specification
- Use programming software to creat programs
- Support other departments when required
- Provide BOM's if requested
- Comply with companys policies and procedures, with regards to Health and Safety, HR and Quality.
- To ensure the drawings and programmes are controlled according to the requirements of ISO9001
Requirements
- Must have worked within a similar role within Manufacturing/Egnineering
- HND level in Mechanical Engineerin, Product Design or similar
- Have worked with SolidWorks or similar
- Experience of CNC Programming
- Knowledge of ERP systems and BOM's
