Junior/Mid Application Support Engineer

Cardiff - Hybrid Working (2/3 days per week)

CPS Group are working with a Reading based FinTech that is looking to expand their team. They are currently seeking a Junior to Mid-level Application Support Engineer.

You will be working in supportive environment with ample opportunities for training, development, and career progression. Whether you're a recent graduate or someone with a previous experience, this is an excellent opportunity to further enhance your skills and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level support for the insurance platform, resolving issues and ensuring high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements.
Analyse feedback from users, customers, and colleagues to proactively address pain points and optimize processes.
Support the development and deployment of new features and updates to the platform.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a similar App Support role, or recent degree within Computer Science (or equivalent)
Any experience / exposure with the following technologies is not preferred but not essential; Java, Docker, Spring Framework, AWS, Linux, JUnit, Git, Jira, and Confluence would be beneficial.
A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Happy to commute to office once/twice per week
