My client, a successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Cardiff. The key duties of the Project Structural Engineer involve:
- Working on diverse structural engineering projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
- Managing resources effectively and ensure compliance with current technical standards and regulations, including CDM and health & safety protocols.
- Perform structural analysis using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
- Contribute to report writing, interpreting numerical data, and presenting findings.
- Represent the company in project meetings and assist with mentoring junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications as a Project Structural Engineer:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience
- A relevant Engineering Degree (MEng, BEng Hons, or BSc),
- Chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE.
- Proficiency in MS Office and structural analysis software, such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, and AutoCAD. Experience with BIM (REVIT) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of technical standards, CDM regulations, and good report writing skills.
- A self-motivated individual with a passion for learning and developing professionally.
