Quality Engineer

Up to £38,700 plus 10% bonus
Monday Friday 8 hour days
Joining us as Quality Engineer, you will develop and sustain quality standards for the organisation's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. Youll seek new measures, tests, sampling methods and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met.
Working within the wider Production & Process Team, youll be leading and managing projects as well as a team of Quality Technicians. Analysis and planning will be a part of the role but getting on the production floor and taking the lead is key.
Youll have regular interactions with customers, so youll find it easy to build and maintain relationships. You have previous experience managing people, ideally youll have a metallurgy background.
Youll be joining a recycling company we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. Were the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. Were passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
