Our client a Wealth Management forms based in Cardiff is looking to bring on-board a proactive and detail-oriented IFA Administrator to join a leading financial planning firm. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in financial services administration while contributing to a dynamic, supportive, and client-focused environment.

Our client operates a 4-day working week with every Friday off with no reduction in salary!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-New Business Queries: Manage queries through Hubspot.
  • Letters of Authority: Process and track to completion.
  • Client Preparation: Obtain illustrations and prepare for client meetings.
  • New Business Processing: Handle all product types and fund switches.
  • Post New Business Processing: Track new business to completion with providers.
  • Compliance: Follow AML procedures and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Servicing Processing: Manage basic updates, withdrawal requests, tax, plan information, and death claims.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage Intelliflo and task database management.
  • Service Fee Management: Oversee service status and client fees.
  • Portfolio Summaries: Provide client portfolio summaries and valuations.
  • Ongoing Suitability: Maintain suitability records post-client review meetings.
  • Document Management: Ensure secure storage of client documents using Papercloud.
  • Client Portal Management: Assist clients with portal navigation and onboarding.
  • Professional Support: Assist Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and the business in general via administrative tasks, updating cash flows, and drafting suitability letters.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 years in an IFA environment.
  • Knowledge: Broad understanding of financial products and services.
  • Skills: Strong ICT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management experience.
  • Qualifications: Industry qualifications (e.g., Diploma) desirable but not essential.
