Legal CashierTSR Legal are proud to be working with a prestigious firm who are now looking for a Legal Cashier to join its dynamic finance team. The role provides a diverse range of financial processing tasks, offering a comprehensive insight into the workings of a solicitor's practice and the solicitor accounting rules. Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with client invoicing and financial postings to the accounting software.- Processing cheques and managing the purchase ledger.- Handling daily receipts, payments, and transfers between accounts.- Taking card payments from clients over the phone.- Conducting bank reconciliations and processing expenses.- Performing general financial administration and housekeeping.- Supporting the credit control process as required.- Responding to routine enquiries from staff, customers, and suppliers, and investigating as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:- Previous experience in a finance role is essential.- Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and Outlook.- Highly numerate with a quick learning ability.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Demonstrates self-management, problem-solving skills, and initiative.- Adheres to the values of the firm.- Knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and SOS software is advantageous, though not essential as training will be provided.
