A growing CRO in South Wales is seeking an Analytical Scientist with a BSc in Chemistry, and a PhD is advantageous.
Candidates should have experience in analytical science and pharmaceutical product development, with proficiency in HPLC, GC, and other analytical techniques.
The role involves developing and validating analytical methods for small molecule intermediates, APIs, and drug products, as well as troubleshooting instruments.
The compensation for this position ranges from £30k to £40k, with additional benefits including 25 days of holiday, private medical cover, and a pension scheme.
Ideal candidates are passionate about science, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and validate analytical methods for small molecule intermediates, API, and drug products.
Solve analytical problems and troubleshoot instruments.

Requirements:

BSc in Chemistry (PhD advantageous).
Experience in analytical science and pharmaceutical product development.
Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and other analytical techniques.
Strong data management and visualisation skills.
Good knowledge of applicable standards and HSSE.
