Our client, a respected and established transport company based in Cardiff, is seeking experiencedBus Driversto join their growing team. This role involves the safe and reliable transport of passengers on scheduled routes, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, safety, and compliance. We are looking for skilled drivers with a background in passenger transport who are committed to delivering a positive experience for all passengers.
Bus Driver Requirements:
- Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) LicenceandDriver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)qualification.
- Experience as a bus driver in an urban or suburban environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of road safety and passenger service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist passengers effectively.
Bus Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses on assigned routes, maintaining schedule accuracy and providing a reliable service.
- Ensurepassenger safety and comfortby assisting with boarding and addressing inquiries courteously.
- Completedaily vehicle inspectionsto ensure roadworthiness and report any vehicle issues promptly.
- Adhere to alltraffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Collect fares and maintain accurate records as required.
