We are seeking an astute Business Analyst for a temporary 6-month position, with excellent analytical and communication skills to drive improvements within our Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to evaluate, design and implement systems in a Public Sector environment, with a focus on increasing efficiency and productivity.

Our client is a well-respected large organisation within the Public Sector industry, based in just outside of Cardiff. Renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality services, they strive to maintain excellent standards by implementing innovative solutions in their Accounting & Finance Department.

Description

  • Support in transition of project & liaison with relevant stakeholders.
  • Capture Current Processes carried out both in house and by Third Party to support a streamlines solution.
  • Document process maps of the property management services both current and future designs.- Ability to Create process maps and procedures that will support BAU users for Go live.
  • Document user guides and future procedures for both Operations and Finance team.
  • Attend Workshops and engage with Third Party configuration partner.
  • Support Stakeholders/Users with areas such as Documentation/ Testing and Formatting of core information.
  • Develop End to End testing for the application of the processes in the system.
  • Support implementation of the Property Management Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations add on to ensure streamlined processes.
  • Support the team for the testing of the processes that will be run through the system and document the results
  • Work with System users for Ad Hoc request.

Profile

A successful Business Analyst should have:

  • A proven track record in a similar role within the Public Sector.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in project management and system implementation.
  • A high level of competence in using finance and accounting systems.
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • An understanding of the Public Sector industry and its challenges.
