We are seeking a Class 2 driver for a local timber merchant in Cardiff, responsible for delivering timber products such as roof trusses and decking.
Candidates must have held their Class 2 license for at least 12 months and possess relevant driving experience due to insurance restrictions.
The role offers temporary work with shifts ranging from one to five days a week, starting between 06:00-07:00 am from Monday to Friday.
Hourly pay rates are set at £15.00 per hour (PAYE), with opportunities for permanent positions after a trial period for successful candidates.
Additional benefits include 28 days of annual leave, online payslips, and a 'Driver of the Quarter' award scheme.

We are recruiting in Cardiff for a local timber merchant who offer a range of timber products and services.Working as part of their Class 2 fleet, you will be driving a flat-bed vehicle, where your main duties will be delivering various timber products such as roof truss’ and decking, to a wide range of customers such as builders merchants, local business and homeowners. This will be bulk deliveries and you will be responsible for securing the load with ratchet straps.This is temporary work. We look for drivers who can work between one and five shifts each week, on a regular ongoing basis.Full induction and training is provided.
