ULR (Uninsured Loss Recovery) Case Manager

Location:Cardiff, with hybrid working following completion of probation.Hours: Monday – Friday working between 08:00 -17:30

Do you have a drive to make a real impact? Imagine helping people recover losses they thought were gone for good! Join us as an Uninsured Loss Recovery Case Manager and play a key role in securing reimbursements for clients when insurance doesn’t cover their damages.

As a ULR Case Manager you’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of uninsured loss recovery claims, including costs like policy excesses, travel expenses, and more. In cases where insurance doesn’t cover specific expenses, such as replacement of essential items or additional out of pocket costs, you’ll investigate avenues to recover these losses from third-party representatives.

Each case you manage will bring unique challenges and opportunities, allowing you to make a tangible difference. From initial assessments to case resolutions, you’ll ensure exceptional client care remains at the core of your work. This role involves building close relationships with clients, gathering crucial information, and offering expert guidance every step of the way, all to achieve the best possible outcomes.

About you

  • First and foremost, you’re passionate about customer service and have experience of showcasing your skills in a contact centre or retail / hospitality setting.
  • You’ll have proven effective time management and organisational skills within a task-based environment.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing with clients, colleagues, and suppliers via all contact methods.
  • Experience in either claims or personal injury setting would be advantageous.
