Summary:

Business Development Manager is required to join the South Wales based team of this well-established third-party logistics provider. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client relationships and enhancing the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify and target new clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms.
  • Monitor and track sales performance using relevant metrics and analytics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows and conferences.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience within the transport and logistics industry ideally but will consider experience from a B2B environment selling a service solution
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and MS office
  • Strategic thinker able to analyse market trends and formulate effective business strategies.
