We are looking for a Sales Manager who is passionate about driving business growth and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This role is crucial for achieving our volume, value, and margin targets while enhancing the market presence of their diverse product portfolio.

Role Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance by fostering strong customer relationships and implementing effective sales strategies across the  brands.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary interface for customers, leading negotiations and developing strategic plans to meet company targets.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring loyalty and repeat business.
    • Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement tactical plans that enhance shelf share, net sales, and margins.
    • Create and execute customer-specific plans for top accounts, focusing on cross-selling and expanding market share.
    • Lead initiatives targeting business growth within the South Asian independent retail sector.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning:
    • Work closely with the Sales Controller and Demand Planning teams to forecast customer volumes accurately.
    • Contribute to monthly demand planning, aligning forecasts with business objectives and market trends.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Promote a collaborative environment with internal teams to support joint objectives and performance improvements.
    • Demonstrate initiative and strong problem-solving skills to achieve sales targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an FMCG sales role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with South Asian culture is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand the product range and market dynamics.
