- This full-time, temporary position lasts for three months, with potential for permanent roles in the future.
- The pay rate is £14.24 per hour, with additional enhancements for evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties, including a 30% increase after 8pm on weekdays and £40.80 per sleep-in shift.
- Candidates should have experience working with children and young people in a residential setting and must be registered with Social Care Wales, along with holding an Enhanced DBS check and a full UK driving licence.
- The role requires a dedicated individual with a positive attitude to help children achieve personal development goals and foster meaningful relationships.

As a Residential Childcare Officer, you will play an essential part in providing direct care and effective support to young people to enable them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their childcare personal plan. Every day is different, and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the young people in their care.
In addition to the above the ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with children and young people either within a residential
setting
Registered withSocial Care Wales
Enhanced DBS check
Full UK driving licence
