Your new role

As the Interim Children's Home Manager, you will oversee the management of two supported living flats. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents, implementing care plans, and leading a team of support staff. You will work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the children and young people in your care. The role offers a rate of pay of £21.98 per hour, with shifts from 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Additionally, you will be part of the On Call Rota.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing children's homes or similar settings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of emotional and behavioural disorders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or a related field. (QCF Level 5 Health and Social CYP)
