My client, an innovative UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil, Structural and Infrastructure Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Civil Design Engineer to join an established team of Engineers based in Leeds.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering and dissertation focused on SuDS Design or Flood Risk Assessments.

Applicants are required to reside locally and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Residential Drainage or Sewerage Designs using Microdrainage, Infodrainage or Flow.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Drainage Strategy and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

-Drainage Area Planning.
