AA Euro Group are working with a leading Main Contractor and looking for a CSA Site Engineer to join their team for a new Data Centre Project in Wales.

Role Overview:

The CSA Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of civil, structural, and architectural works on a large-scale Data Centre project. This role involves managing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring that all CSA works are delivered according to design, quality, and safety standards. You will work closely with the CSA Project Manager, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of activities on site.

Key Responsibilities:

As the CSA Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising the on-site execution of civil, structural, and architectural works. Your role includes setting out and surveying, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring that all work is carried out according to project designs and specifications.

You will oversee subcontractors, ensuring that work progresses on schedule and to the required standards of quality. Conducting regular site inspections, you will ensure that all works meet safety requirements and comply with industry regulations. Any issues that arise during construction will be addressed with the relevant teams, and you will play a key role in solving on-site challenges.

You will also assist with the preparation of site reports, maintaining accurate records of progress, and ensuring that any changes to the design are communicated effectively.

Key Requirements:

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally working on data centre or large-scale commercial projects. You should have solid technical knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural works, and be proficient in the use of setting-out and surveying equipment.

Strong communication and organisational skills are necessary, as you will be working with various teams and managing subcontractors. Familiarity with CAD and project management software is also important. Experience working to tight deadlines and managing quality control on complex construction projects is essential.
