Foreman

My client are a regional civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a foreman for an ongoing project being delivered in South East Wales. My client operate across multiple sectors including infrastructure, commercial/ industrial and rail. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and understanding of earthworks and heavy civils.

Foreman responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the project manager.
• Managing plant, labour and materials.
• Plant and machinery inspections.
• Task briefings.
• Details record keeping.
• Health and safety compliance.
• Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site.
• Ensuring works are being completed in accordance to drawings and specification.

Foreman requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• CSCS - Gold/ White/ Black.
• SSSTS/ SMSTS.
• First aid.
• Strong experience with bulk earthworks.
• Strong experience with heavy civils work.
• Full UK driving licence.
