Are you an experienced Graduate Highways Design Engineer looking for a new role? 
 
As a Graduate Highways Design Engineer you will be assisting the Construction & Development Team in delivery of a comprehensive range of professional and technical services in relation to a range of design and project management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·To assist in the preparation of designs and contract documents including drawings, bill or quantities, specifications and tender documents with particular reference to highway projects using appropriate IT and CAD facilities.
·To assist with site supervision as appropriate.
·To assist in the monitoring of progress and expenditure on projects to ensure works are progressed as per program and within budget including claim resolution.
·To assist with the preparation of design briefs for the appointment of various consultants and to liaise with them as appropriate.
·To have an understanding of current design standards and be proficient with computer packages for the design of projects.
 
Essential Experience:
·Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject
·Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
