We are currently recruiting for a Site-Engineer and Technical Services Supervisor to work on behalf of a leading Facility Management organisation, undertaking and overseeing PPM's and Reactive maintenance in a Workplace and Health-Care facility in Cardiff.
Technical Services Supervisor Specification:
Managing a team of 3 engineers, you will cover a range of systems and equipment including, HVAC, water, fire, medical gasses etc. Ideally undertaken previously within a healthcare environment.
- To effectively manage a team of engineers carrying out all aspects of maintenance in accordance with KPIs/SLAs in a safe working manner.
- As a Technical Supervisor, provide timely support to maintain the highest standard of statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in accordance with companies Health & Safety policy, quality, sustainability and energy efficiency related standards, including Legionella Management.
- Assist in producing all required documentation to ensure that any incidents are recorded and escalated as per the requirements of the contract, not limited to but including risk management, operational continuity, and operational equipment status reports.
- Act as a Appointed Person / Responsible Person for Technical Disciplines, as required.
- Manage the engineer's data and job details in accordance with clients requirements to ensure that the Computer Aided Facilities Management System (CAFM) is maintained to a current and accurate status to ensure the highest level of operational resilience and completion of works.
- Assist the Account Manager in the first instance in the supervision of subcontractors and specialist providers where required and liaise with all other parts of the Project Teams to support project activity. Manage and deliver Lifecycle projects.
- Build strong professional relationships with other groups within the organisation and contract.
Package: Up to 45,000 per annum, Company Car, 1 in 4 On-Call allowance 100, 25 AL + Public Holidays and more.
Requirements: Multi skilled engineer with a qualified discipline with at least 5 years' experience & previous management experience is advantageous.
Site-Based Building Services Engineer Specification:
Working within 2, six year old workplace buildings in CF10 alongside the Facilties Manager.
- Work alone or within a team to carry out maintenance/repair or mechanical/electrical services to plant and equipment across the Site.
- Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the Site
- Carry out mechanical/electrical repairs and cleaning of mechanical components and equipment as necessary.
Package: Up to 42,000 per annum, 9am - 5pm, flexible working days, no overtime or on-call & 25 AL.
Requirements: Skilled engineer with a qualified discipline within Mechanical, Electrical or AC/HVAC Plant.
