Role & Client:
Are you passionate about supporting learners to achieve their qualifications? We are seeking a Business & Customer Service Assessor to work with learners completing Customer Service and Business Administration qualifications. This role involves assessing learners in the workplace, providing guidance and support, and ensuring high-quality delivery that leads to successful qualification achievement.
This is a hybrid role based in Cardiff, offering a mix of office-based, home-based, and workplace visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing & Training Delivery:
- Support and assess learners working towards Customer Service and Business Administration qualifications.
- Deliver engaging workplace-based assessments in line with awarding body standards.
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning sessions to ensure learners meet key milestones.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and map out tailored learning routes.
- Mark and reference evidence to meet qualification criteria.
- Facilitate tests and assessments as per awarding body requirements.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of all learner documentation.
Quality & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate Award Body records and ensure compliance with IV (Internal Verification) procedures.
- Ensure all learners receive timely and effective feedback to support progression.
- Work towards agreed performance targets and ensure positive learner outcomes.
- Maintain good working relationships with employers and identify potential business opportunities.
Essential/Desirable Criteria:
Essential:
- Experience in delivering and assessing within Customer Service and/or Business Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Work-Based Learning (WBL) and apprenticeship delivery.
- A recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own caseload.
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle for workplace visits.
