Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Executive for a business who provide tailored training solutions across various sectors across the UK.

Their training and onboarding programme is set up to make you win as a Business Development Executive. Even if this is your first sales job or you are in a desk-based sales role but want more development leading to promotion and commission this, will be the role for you.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment around an established team of Business Development Executives and Account Managers. The role is an outbound sales position to an established database with warm & cold leads provided to help you succeed. Through your calls you will look to build relationships and close sales, which those customers will then become part of your portfolio for repeat business.

Once you have completed your 3 weeks office based training, this role is 4 days work from home 1 day office based

Responsibilities & day to day duties

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Making a number of outbound calls to warm and cold prospective customers.
  • Using a consultative approach to understand the customer’s needs and then close the sale.
  • Generate leads and manage your own pipeline and database.
  • Build rapport with your customers to secure repeat business.
  • Ensure good product knowledge to be able to talk learners through their options.

Skills & experience required.

  • Experience in an outbound sales role or the desire to work in outbound sales.
  • Experience working towards, and able to individual targets.
  • Confident in speaking to a variety of people on the telephone, with the ability to build rapport.
  • Self-motivated, with the desire to want to grow your career.
