Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Executive for a growing business in Cardiff.As a Business Development Executive, you will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, you’ll use your expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.You’ll be following up on inbound enquiries, as well as prospecting new business and making outbound calls to potential customers.Our client is a forward-thinking business with a fantastic benefits structure designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being. Based in a newly refurbished office in Cardiff, you’ll also enjoy the convenience of a free city centre parking space — no more costly commutes or hunting for a space!This is an office-based role with flexible working hours between 6am to 8pm.Responsibilities & day to day duties of a Business Development Executive
  • Manage your sales pipeline, speaking to prospective companies and handling both inbound and outbound sales calls
  • Hit individual and team KPIs and targets
  • Prospect new clients via phone calls, email, and social selling
  • Build strong relationships quickly using a consultative sales approach
Skills & experience required as a Business Development Executive
  • 18 months’ experience in a desk-based sales role, making outbound calls to either B2C or B2B
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient in your approach to sales
