Job Title: Business Development DirectorLocation: 1-2 days South Wales, remaining time visiting customers / working from home. 

Role Summary:

As the Business Development Director, you'll lead a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth and exceed targets. You’ll develop strategic sales initiatives, mentor team members, and build strong stakeholder relationships. This role is pivotal in setting high standards of excellence within the team and identifying opportunities for expansion in key markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Large Enterprise Sales: Drive large-scale enterprise sales initiatives, focusing on high-impact accounts and growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring targets are met.
  • Sales Enablement: Introduce and refine sales enablement strategies, enhancing lead generation, deal closure, and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Keep up with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market shifts to guide strategic planning.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key industry players and provide support on compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar sales leadership role, with expertise in sales enablement and strategy.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent team-building, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Enthusiastic and results-driven, with a commitment to company growth.

Desirable: SaaS sales or Service led sales would be a distinct advantage
