Are you a seasoned sales professional with over 10 years of experience in the construction or plumbing groundworks industry?
Do you have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building lasting client relationships? If so, I want you to hear from you.
My client is a leading independent plumbing and heating merchant with nearly 50 years of excellence in customer service. Following strong growth in the past 5 years, they are on the lookout for a dynamic New Business Development Sales Executive to drive new customer development and deliver net new business across Wales.
This role is crucial for achieving our ambitious growth plans.
To stand out you will speak Welsh and have a list of contacts within the industry that can open doors to M & E Contractors, House Builders or Housing Associations.
Ideal candidate will have:
- 10 years of sales experience within Construction / Groundworks Plumbing
- Appetite to proactively hunt and utilise existing relationships and contacts to develop pipeline business from
- Have a demonstrable track record of overachieving sales quotas
- Service-orientated approach to selling.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to close deals effectively and value engineer opportunities.
- Trustworthy, earning and retaining the trust of customers and colleagues.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence.
In this role, you will own your sales budget and drive year-on-year growth. You'll build and manage client relationships, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and trust is established. You'll handle profit/loss and growth for key accounts, anticipate client needs, and communicate these internally. Using tools like Barbour ABI, you'll provide insights to help clients develop new projects. You'll also maintain cross-functional relationships within the company to deliver top service levels and present area updates at monthly sales meetings in Southampton.
