A highly successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Technician to join their expanding team in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities for this Senior Structural Technician role involves:
- Produce structural general arrangement and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs.
- Create 3D Structural Detailing drawings, with proficiency in BIM Revit.
- Assist in RC detailing and support project teams with structural designs.
- Use FTPs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, and Viewpoint (experience with these is advantageous).
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients, maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Work independently and be self-motivated, while also taking direction with a flexible attitude.
Requirements for this Senior Structural Technician position:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in BIM Revit, with the ability to produce structural general arrangement and detailed drawings.
- Experience in RC detailing.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, Viewpoint, or similar FTPs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work unsupervised and take direction as required.
- A proactive and flexible attitude towards work.
