TAY Recruitment Limited are looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager for a growing local electrical contractor in Cardiff, specialising in commercial and industrial installations has a key requirement for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to work with an existing team.
As the one of two Contracts Managers you will be running installation projects of either commercial or industrial installations, with a good mixture of office based with site visits as and when required across Wales and the South West predominately.
Duties:
Electrical Contracts Manager will be:
- Managing the project from inception to hand over
- Managing the process of design, estimate and quotation for both old and new clients
- Control of subcontractors
- NICEIC registered Supervisor
- Managing the delivery according to the program
- Liaising with site installation team and client
- Ordering materials as required
- Involved in estimating of projects from plan
- Attending site as required
- Help expand the existing client base with your contacts
To be successful as the Electrical Contracts manager will:
- Electrical Contracts Manager will be JIB qualified
- Electrical Contracts Manager will be experienced in running commercial and industrial installation projects
- Electrical Contracts Manager will be in commuting distance to in Wales and the South West predominately.
- Electrical Contracts Manager will be able to read from drawings and run installation delivery programs
50k - 52k basic Negotiable on experience plus vehicle allowanc
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract management or a similar role, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving successful outcomes in complex discussions.
- Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse complex information effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, law, or a related field would be advantageous but not essential.
