Technical Trainer

TSR Legal is partnering with one of the UK's leading conveyancing law firms to recruit a Technical Trainer. This role is crucial in maintaining the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional service through continuous learning and development.

As a Technical Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of service delivery within the firm. Collaborating closely with the People, Learning & Development, and Compliance teams, you will integrate industry-leading practices into innovative learning interventions and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to enhance technical proficiency among Property Lawyers.
  • Conduct ongoing skills and knowledge gap analyses to address training needs across all levels of the organisation.
  • Continuously assess and refine technical training requirements for teams involved in the conveyancing process, such as Legal Support, Post Exchange, and Completion teams.
  • Develop and maintain a structured training calendar to strategically plan and deliver technical training aligned with business objectives and employee development needs.
  • Deliver training sessions via various platforms including web-based programs, hands-on workshops, and personalised one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, including case law updates, tribunal decisions, and legislative reforms relevant to conveyancing.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive preferred.
  • Essential experience in Leasehold and Title Checking with a strong understanding of conveyancing transactions.
  • Proven track record in technical training roles, with proficiency in designing and implementing learning methodologies, particularly leveraging online and virtual learning tools.
  • Solid grasp of learning theory and experience in assessing the impact of learning initiatives across business functions, including measuring ROI and learning effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) processes and leveraging technical competency models to drive training strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform training strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
