Job Title: Clinical Service Manager
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £48,000 per annum
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Service Manager to join our team at a reputable 30-bed nursing home in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing authentic leadership, role modeling, and motivation to inspire the team to deliver exceptional care.
- Assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Service, ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained at all times for the residents.
- Manage resources effectively, including overseeing financial performance and ensuring optimal occupancy levels.
- Support Service Users in achieving greater independence, choice, and overall improvement in their care experience.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC standards for Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines.
General Management:
- Oversee the Service’s budget and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Ensure the Service adheres to all statutory obligations, such as environmental health and health and safety regulations.
- Enable Service Users to manage their finances independently where possible, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained. If acting as an appointee for any Service User, ensure financial control is managed properly.
- Promote a culture of meaningful activities within the Service, ensuring that all team members are engaged in this process.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN
- Previous experience holding registration with CIW
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Experience managing a service of similar size and client group
