About Us:We are partnered with a global financial services organisation seeking a talented Credit Controller to join their finance team. As they continue to grow, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely payments are crucial to our success. This role offers the flexibility of working fully remotely, making it ideal for those who are self-motivated and organised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts to ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments.
  • Proactively contacting customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to resolve overdue invoices.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies or payment issues, ensuring disputes are followed up and resolved promptly.
  • Monitoring credit limits and reviewing customer creditworthiness regularly, reporting any risks to the finance team.
  • Preparing and sending out monthly statements and overdue reminders.
  • Working closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Providing excellent customer service while maintaining professional relationships with clients.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with credit control best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (experience with [insert relevant software] is a plus).
  • Strong numerical and analytic skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of credit control processes, procedures, and relevant legislation.
