Accounts Receivable Manager Cardiff £50,000 Bonus and Excellent Benefits

SRM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a multi-national company based in Cardiff. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in accounts receivableteam leadership, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicingcollections, and cash application.
  • Manage the AR team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Hold the team accountable to performance targets on the average time required to collect payments from customers.
  • Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt. Define procedures for managing credit risk and collections.
  • Monitor and analyze aging reports to identify and address overdue payments proactively.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve billing disputes and customer queries effectively.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls within the AR function.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the AR team, optimizing operational processes and ensuring efficiency across various business units.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of managing accounts receivable processes with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, independent thinker with experience of improving processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Proficient PC skills and experience with financial applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish trust and build relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
