My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a bright and enthusiastic Graduate Hydraulic Modeller to join their innovative Water team based in Bristol.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in a related discipline (Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Management or River Basin Dynamics) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow or Flood Risk Assessments.

Applicants are also required to have an awareness of Flood Risk Policy, Drainage Strategy and Drainage Design using AutoCAD or preferably Infodrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally, near Bristol.

Typically the role will involve the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
-Drainage Strategies.
-Drainage Designs using infodrainage.
-Natural Flood Management and Climate Change Projects.
-Training Courses.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients to discuss project progress.
